FAQs
How do I order a bin?
There are two easy ways to order your waste disposal bin from BinCraft. You can either:
- Call us directly at 519-809-BINS (2467) to speak with us. This is the quickest and easiest method.
- Or, submit a request using our online contact form.
To schedule your bin delivery, we’ll need the following details:
- Full name, phone number, and delivery address.
- Email address for the invoice.
- Any special instructions for bin placement
How soon should I call to schedule a bin?
Delivery schedules are usually done a day in advance depending on bin availability. So the sooner you call and book – the better we can try to accommodate your delivery needs. We understand things can come up unexpectedly and a bin may be required at short notice – we will do everything we can to fit you in the schedule but some flexibility on your part may be required.
What are my payment options / How is a payment made?
At this time, you can pay by calling the office, e-transfer and online with this website. If you are e-tranfering the funds please send your e-transfer to binrental@bincraftcanada.com. This will need to be done prior to the bin being delivered to your address.
If your disposal weight exceeds what you paid for, a new invoice will be emailed to you for immediate payment. We will attach your weigh bill to show the difference. Overages are charged at $75 + HST per ton.
Do I have to call for bin pick-up?
Bin rentals are for 7 days. Your invoice will show the drop-off and pick-up dates. If you need the bin picked up earlier, just give us a call, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Please note: Both weekdays and weekends are counted in the daily rental period.
Will the bin damage my driveway or property?
Our bins have rollers. We place pads underneath to minimise the risk of damage.
Can the bin be placed on my lawn?
We do not recommend placing bins on lawns due to the weight, which could cause damage to your grass and potentially other issues. However, we can drop bins on lawns with written approval from the customer. Please note that BinCraft is not liable for any damage caused in these cases.
Can the bin be placed on the street or overhang the sidewalk?
No, local bylaws prohibit bins from being placed on streets or overhanging sidewalks. Delivery will not proceed if the placement violates these rules. Additionally, bins cannot be placed on neighboring properties or alleyways. For parking lot deliveries, written permission from the property owner is required.
How full can I fill the bin?
Transportation regulations limit the weight and how bins are loaded. You may reach the weight limit before the bin appears full, depending on the material. Bins can be filled to the top, as long as everything is inside, and no debris is hanging over the edges.
Our driver will ensure the load is secure for transport. If items exceed the limit or are hanging out, you may need to remove them before the bin can be picked up.
